The Health & Wellbeing Award recognises an organisation that has shown a commitment to the health and wellbeing of its staff. The Judges will consider several key factors that demonstrate the business's commitment and impact on promoting health and wellbeing. Ultimately, the judges will be looking for a business that goes beyond superficial efforts and genuinely prioritises the health and wellbeing of its employees, creating a positive and supportive work environment.

As a guide to what this Award will be assessed on, the judges will be looking for several proof points (evidence) against the following:

Health Initiatives: Judges will want to see evidence of the business's health initiatives and programs. This could include wellness programs, fitness activities, mental health support, nutrition education or any other efforts to improve the physical and mental health of employees.

Work-Life Balance: A business that values work-life balance is more likely to have healthier and happier employees. Judges might look for flexible working arrangements, policies that promote time off, and efforts to reduce stress and burnout.

Mental Health Support: The business should have policies and resources in place to support employees' mental health.

Healthy Environment: Judges will assess whether the physical environment of the workplace promotes health and wellbeing.

Employee Feedback and Satisfaction: Judges might consider feedback from employees through surveys or testimonials. A positive and healthy work culture is often reflected in high employee satisfaction and retention rates.

Leadership Commitment: Judges will look for evidence of leadership commitment to health and wellbeing initiatives. When leaders prioritise employee health, it sets the tone for the entire organisation.

Measurable Impact: The business should be able to demonstrate the impact of its health and wellbeing initiatives through measurable outcomes, such as reduced absenteeism, improved productivity, and better employee morale.
