The Apprentice Of The Year award recognises the North Cheshire apprentices who have demonstrated exceptional growth, dedication, and impact throughout their apprenticeships. It celebrates those who have embraced learning opportunities and made a meaningful contribution to their workplace.

Entries should highlight clear progress in personal and professional development, alongside a strong commitment to training. Judges will be looking for apprentices who have gone above and beyond in their role, showing initiative, adding value to their organisation, and making a positive difference within their team.

• Include with your entry the company logo in high resolution (300dpi) CMYK and RGB JPEG format. In the event you are shortlisted, this will be used in the printed programme and AV presentation at the Awards Ceremony.
• Enter the entrants name and company name as you would like it to appear should you be shortlisted.

The award will be presented to an Apprentice who has:
1. Shown outstanding progress and commitment to personal development.
2. Made a positive impact within their business.
3. Demonstrated dedication to training and development
4. Exceptional contribution to their workplace

As a guide to what this Award will be assessed on, you should ensure that you provide the following information as a minimum:
• Describe how the Apprentice has coped with working and learning alongside each other and what have the benefits and challenges been for them? Providing specific examples of how this has worked well will help support the application
• Describe how the Apprentice added value to the employer and their workplace during their apprenticeship?
• What are the next steps after the Apprenticeship has been successfully completed for both the Apprentices and the Employer?

• How would you describe their attitude, commitment, and approach to learning?
• What key achievements has the apprentice made during their apprenticeship?
• Can you provide examples of how they have added value to your team, department, or business?
• Has the apprentice contributed to any projects, improvements, or innovations? Describe their involvement and the outcome?
• How has the apprentice demonstrated growth in their technical, professional, or interpersonal skills?
• What challenges have they faced, and how have they shown resilience or problem solving in overcoming them?

• How does the apprentice demonstrate your organisations values in their day to day work?
• In what ways have they shown initiative, leadership potential, or the ability to work effectively with others?

• What potential do you see in this apprentice for future roles or progression within your business?
