You too can vote for Crewe!

You too can vote for Crewe!

You may have heard the fantastic news this week that Crewe has been shortlisted by central government to become the home of Great British Railways, a new public body, which will be in charge of the country’s rail network.

As Cheshire East Council build up a head of steam in their campaign to make this a reality, they need the publics help to get as many names as possible in the public vote, and are asking for your support through the public vote. You can vote for Crewe here and, then share on any social media channel you may use, to help spread the word. It only takes a minute to do, so please do it as soon as you can and please do also encourage your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues to do likewise. This would be another huge boost, not just for Crewe, but for the region as a whole, including the North Midlands, North Wales, Cheshire West and Chester, Merseyside and Manchester.

Crewe is a great town with an exciting future, and its residents share the Councils passion and enthusiasm for this unique opportunity. A successful bid would mean that this historic railway town, so rich in rail history and engineering, would be able to offer more jobs in this sector, on top of the many thousands of jobs expected to be generated through the arrival of HS2.
